Privacy Policy

daycolor (daycolor.day) · Effective August 17, 2026

daycolor (the "Service") values your privacy, and was designed from the ground up not to collect or store personal data on any server. This policy explains, transparently, how the Service handles information.

In short — the birth date and time, sex, and birthplace you enter are used only for calculations inside your own browser, and are never sent to or stored on the operator's server.

1. Operator and Contact

2. Information Processed and Its Purpose

To calculate your saju (Four Pillars) chart, the Service asks for the following values.

These values are used only within your own web browser, to generate the chart, interpretations, and images. The calculation happens on your own device — these values are never transmitted to, collected by, or stored on the operator's server. Once you close the browser tab, nothing you entered remains.

3. What's Stored in Your Browser

For convenience, the Service stores exactly one thing in your browser's local storage (localStorage).

You can delete this value at any time using your browser's own site data / history clearing tools.

4. Access Logs Kept Automatically (Hosting)

The Service is delivered through Cloudflare. As with any website, Cloudflare may process standard access logs (such as IP address and request time) for the purpose of delivering the Service and keeping it secure. These are technical logs related to infrastructure delivery; the operator does not use them to build a separate user database or to identify individuals. Cloudflare's handling of this data is governed by Cloudflare's own privacy policy.

5. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

The Service uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand visit statistics. This tool does not use cookies and does not identify individuals; it collects only anonymous, aggregate figures such as page views and visit trends. It does not track or profile individual visitors.

The Service currently does not use advertising. If advertising or other features are introduced in the future, this policy will be updated in advance to disclose what is collected and why.

6. Sharing with Third Parties

The Service does not provide or sell your personal data to third parties. To begin with, no personal data is stored on any server.

7. Your Rights

Because the Service does not retain your personal data on a server, there is no server-side data to request access to, correct, or delete. The language preference stored in your browser can be deleted by you directly. For any related questions, please contact us at the email address above.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 14, and does not knowingly collect personal data from children. As described above, the Service does not store any user's personal data on a server.

9. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be revised as laws or the Service itself change. Any revision will be announced on this page.

This document reflects daycolor.day's current operating practice — in-browser processing, with no server-side storage.
